WALLOWA — In the season opener for both teams, Enterprise used scoring from 11 of the team’s 12 varsity players to down Wallowa, 52-25, on Wednesday, Nov. 30, in Wallowa.

“I was pleased with the intensity of our defense of our defense throughout the game,” said Enterprise coach Kyle Crawford. “The offense was a little less smooth, but the boys recognize we can grow.”

The Outlaws shot 37% from the field but failed to connect on 11 3-point attempts. From the free-throw line, Enterprise ended the game at 67%. Wallowa did hold a slight advantage in rebounding, 34-32.

The Cougars struggled with shooting, ending the game at 22% and also had problems at the free-throw line, going 4-for-12.

Enterprise (1-0 overall) is on the road again on Dec. 3 with a nonleague game in Ontario against the Four River Falcons (0-1 overall). Game time is at 5:30 p.m.

Wallowa (0-1 overall) is on the road on Dec. 2 with a trip to take on South Wasco County (1-0 overall) for a 6 p.m. tip-off.
