ENTERPRISE — The Enterprise Future Farmers of America chapter is shining the spotlight on two of its members for December.

Kimber Stein is the chapter’s secretary, and keeps the team laughing while helping to make gatherings or meetings more exciting, according to a recent press release from the organization.

In her role as an officer, she has enjoyed improving her public speaking skills and meeting many new people at events such as leadership camp. One of her favorite memories she has made through FFA is attending the National Convention in November and getting to see the different types of land in other states.

Outside of FFA, Stein enjoys playing basketball and volleyball, golfing, hanging out with her friends and family, fishing, camping and working with her steer and heifer.

Her steer and heifer projects are only two of her supervised agricultural experiences. Others include working at Longhorn Espresso in Enterprise and babysitting.

After high school, Stein plans to go to college at either Eastern Oregon University or Central Oregon Community College to get a degree in elementary education to then become an elementary school teacher.

The other member highlighted this month is Tori Collier, as member of the month.

Collier is an outstanding member of the student body, as she is active in FFA, volleyball, basketball, and track and field all while holding a high grade-point average in the classroom.

She works many long hours in the summer and throughout the school year at R&R Restaurant in Joseph.

She has competed in many different FFA competitions such as Ag Sales, Job Interview and Parliamentary Procedure. She will be in an Ag Leadership class next semester.

Her willingness to help with any FFA event or activity is greatly appreciated and she is a valued member of the FFA chapter.
