ELGIN — The Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation has selected the Elgin Stampede as the new host rodeo for the Miss Rodeo Oregon Pageant for 2025.

The is the first time the pageant has been held in Eastern Oregon in at least 40 years.

The pageant is scheduled to take place during the Elgin Stampede’s annual rodeo in July, where the Miss Rodeo Oregon, Miss Teen Rodeo Oregon and Junior Miss Rodeo Oregon for 2026 will be selected. The Miss Rodeo Oregon Sweetheart Pageant also will take place.

The partnership with the Elgin Stampede ensures all contestants participate in the parade and experience the rodeo arena, creating lasting memories that celebrate the spirit of rodeo.

Members of this year’s court are Miss Rodeo Oregon 2025 Mary Olney, of the Warm Springs Reservation. She graduated from Madras High School in 2019. Miss Teen Rodeo Oregon 2025 is Katie Kilcullen, 18, of Elmira, and Junior Miss Rodeo is Fallyn Plume, 12, of Cayuse, near Pendleton.
