TO BE WED: Soares-Hansen

Natalie Marie Soares and Darren Matthew Hansen have announced their engagement and upcoming wedding on May 12, 2007, at Wallowa Lake State Park near Joseph.

Soares graduated from Wallowa High School in 2002. She attended Eastern Oregon University and the ODS School of Dental Hygiene, where she will graduate this year. She is the daughter of Jim and Marilyn Soares of Wallowa.

Hansen graduated from Cove High School in 1999. He worked with his family in the custom harvesting business until 2005, when he began his own business, the Lazy H. Cattle Co. He currently owns a logging business. Hansen is the son of Gary Hansen of La Grande and Debra Hansen of Cove.
