Letters: Differing views on Van Blaricom

I have just had a chance to read E.H. Van Blaricom’s article in the Feb. 14-20 issue, and my compliments to him. It was a well-written article and (reflects) the feelings of a lot of us.

I feel Mr. Van Blaricom writes from his heart, not from the politically correct, do-not-offend-anybody point of view that most newspaper articles are written from.

I have been lucky enough to move back to the area after a number of years, and I will gladly take what he has written over what I get out of the Portland newspaper.

Hang in there, Mr. Van Blaricom, and continue to write. I think there are a lot of us on your side.
