Rebecca Whiteley and Brek Nebel were married in a garden wedding Aug. 2, 2008, at the Beau Lodge in Bow, Wash.

The couple met in Everett, Wash., where he was stationed in the U.S. Navy and where they are now making their home.

The bride is the daughter of Christine Hendrickson and David Whiteley of Snohomish, Wash. The groom is the son of Curt and Melody Nebel of Enterprise.

Jim Roberts, friend of the groom, officiated at the wedding.

Maid of honor was Emily Poloniter and bridesmaids were Maggie Roberts, Corey McMillan and Aja Brayman, all friends of the bride.

Chad Paloniter acted as best man, and Chase Nebel, Gage Nebel and John Revere were groomsmen, while Tava Borrego ushered.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico.
