Mitchell Hulse and Emma Weise were married on Sept. 4, 2010, in Harrison, N.Y.  

The groom is the son of Gary and Marilyn Hulse of Wallowa and a 2000 graduate of Wallowa High School. 

The bride is the daughter of Claudia Carmel and Martin Weise, both of New York City.

The wedding was celebrated at the home of the brides grandparents, Larry and the late Shirley  Carmel. The wedding was officiated by Noah Rosenberg, a friend of the couple.

The newlyweds are both recent graduates of Columbia University in New York City.  

The bride is working in nutrition education at the university, while the groom plans to attend graduate school.  

The couple will take a honeymoon trip to Vietnam in March.
