Open House at Wallowa Memorial Hospital, Learn How to Get the Most Out of Your Healthcare, 5-7 p.m., WMH conference room, put on by Jeramey Shoffitt as his Joseph High School senior project. Fergi Fest, free skiing, Ferguson Ridge ski area, east of Joseph. Ski area opens at 10 a.m,, races start at noon, with ski golf at 3 p.m. and the lawn chair race at 4 p.m. A potluck and music are also planned.

 

Hula (Dance) Praise Workshop, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Point of Connection (Wallowa County Family Youth Center), 83346 Joseph Highway, north of Joseph. Janine Kovsky, adjunct faculty at Lewis-Clark State College and University  of Idaho, and member of Devotion in Motion Island Style to conduct the workshop for Wallowa County residents, pre-teen to adult. Missoula Childrens Theatre auditions for King Arthurs Quest, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Beth Johnson Room, Wallowa School. All county students, grades kindergarten through 12, invited to tryout. Free training conducted by National Weather Services; volunteers assist the meteorologists by providing up-to-date on-ground information about storm activity.  Chief Joseph Days Coronation dinner/dance, Joseph Community Center; social hour 6 p.m., dinner 7 p.m., coronation about 9 p.m., dance follows coronation. Dinner tickets, which go on sale April 1, are $27 each, available at chamber office, Community Bank or Sports Corral. Dance-only tickets are $5, available at the door after coronation.
