- A visitor to the 2009 Wallowa Mountain Quilters Guild quilt show admires the maze of quilts in the Joseph High School gym.
Wallowa Mountain Quilt Guild
The 19th annual show by the local quilt guild is expected to feature over 100 quilts June 10-11, at Joseph High School. The show opens 10 a.m. both days and closes at 6 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday.
Awards are presented based on popular vote.
The colorful quilts in a myriad of patterns fill the high school gym in a maze of fabric art. A featured quilter will demonstrate her work during the show, which coincides with the Oregon Mountain Cruise rally downtown.
Quilting supply vendors, a raffle quilt, a silent auction and dessert concession are part of the show.
