Training slated for volunteer weather spotters

Volunteers are being sought to participate in the next weather spotter training on April 30 in Enterprise.
Weather spotters trained by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS) assist meteorologists by providing up-to-date information about storm activity.

The Skywarn Weather Spotter training is free and will be held in Enterprise in the Cloverleaf Hall front meeting room beginning at 6 p.m. There will be light refreshments and door prizes. The training is being co-sponsored by Wallowa County Emergency Management.
