A Nativity scene and a sign proclaiming "Jesus is the Reason for the Season" were on the Tenderfoot Christian Fellowship's float during last year's Winterfest Parade in downtown Enterprise. This year's Winterfest will be Dec. 14, 2024.

ENTERPRISE — Santas galore, a barrel train and likely some freshly roasted chestnuts will be in downtown Enterprise on Saturday, Dec. 14, for the 26th annual Winterfest.

It’s the time of year locals brave the cold only to warm up at a burn barrel and grab some hot chocolate while enjoying the holiday sights and sounds on Main Street. This year, however, the usual Winterfest activities will be included with a Winter/Artisan Market to be held at Fishtrap from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Winterfest will run all day long until the parade lines up at 9 p.m. After the parade will be drawings for prizes.

Kids can visit with Santa at Santa Central (Warde Park), where the drawings also will take place.

The city also plans to bring in a food truck.

Main Street will be closed from North to Depot streets for the event.
