I feel that Devin Patton will be an asset to Wallowa County as a county commissioner.
I have known Devin since he was 5 years old. I watched him grow up on the family ranch where he learned to work hard for his achievements. Devin was a student in my second and third grade classrooms at the Joseph Elementary School, and at an early age showed himself to be honest, intelligent and reliable. He gets along well in any group of people and has good communication skills. He is also very approachable and willing to listen to other’s concerns. I feel that one of Devin’s outstanding qualities is his ability to problem-solve and find reasonable solutions.
Devin holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Idaho. Rather than depend on loans, grants or his parents, he funded his way through school. This money came from savings from his FFA cow project, in addition to working summers for the U.S. Forest Service and on his parent’s ranch. Because of his experience in ranching and agriculture, his high moral integrity, good work ethics and interest in preserving a healthy way of life in Wallowa County, he will be a great asset to the people of Wallowa County as a county commissioner. I urge you to vote for Devin for commissioner, Position 1.
