WALLOWA — The hail and wind storm that struck Wallowa on Thursday, Aug. 11, may to the list of what’s on the minds of Wallowa City Council members when they meet Tuesday, but it won’t be on the agenda.
Mayor Gary Hulse said it happened too late to make the agenda. He said agenda items have to be added a week prior to a meeting.

However, he said, some discussion of it is expected under New Business or if he or a councilor brings it up when the council meets at 6 p.m. or the work session that precedes the meeting.
Items that are on the agenda include:
• A sidewalk extension as recommended by Terry Journot of Anderson Perry.
• Travis Goebel’s request for a variance for his son to construct a home shop on an undersized lot.
• A request that the city pay half the cost of maintenance of restrooms at Wallowa Memorial Park, with the other half paid by Rahn Disposal.
The council meets in the conference room at City Hall.
