Outlaw softball falls to second-ranked 3A team

ENTERPRISE — The Enterprise/Joseph/Wallowa softball team suffered their first two 3A Special District 4 losses as the combined team of Burns and Crane rolled into town on Friday, April 7.

The Hilanders, currently ranked second in the most recent 3A poll, downed the Outlaws 5-3 in game one and rolled over Enterprise/Joseph/Wallowa 11-1 in the second game of the day.

The Outlaws (5-4 overall, 0-2 3A Special District 4) look to even up their league record on Friday, hosting the Vale Vikings (7-2 overall, 1-0 3A Special District 4) for a doubleheader. The first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
