Joseph girls basketball team top academic team in state

WILSONVILLE — Plainly put, the Joseph girls basketball team is the smartest squad in the state.

The Eagles ended the season with a combined 3.98 grade point average (GPA), the highest in the state across all the divisions, 1A through 6A. It should also be noted the Joseph girls also out-studied every boys basketball team in the state.

The Joseph boys basketball squad ended its year with a 3.66 GPA, seventh in the 1A standings.
