NORTH POWDER — The Enterprise girls basketball team ended a two day run at the Eastern Oregon Holiday Crossover with a 36-35 loss to the Lady Panthers of Prairie City/Burnt River on Friday, Dec. 29 in the Powder Valley gym.

The loss comes after the Outlaws fell to Imbler in tournament play on Thursday.

“We controlled the game for the first three quarters,” said Enterprise coach Dan Butterfield. “We are still struggling with too many turnovers which is a big factor in a close game.”

Kendall Wigen, Alex Rowley and Tessa Duncan each had seven rebounds in the game. Offensively, Rowley led Enterprise with 18 points.

“Owyhee (Harguess) continues her tough defensive play for us,” said Butterfield.

Enterprise (7-6 overall) now jumps into 2A Blue Mountain Conference play on Friday, Jan. 5 on the road versus Grant Union (1-10 overall).
