SPOKANE — Northwest Farm Credit Services has awarded the Chief Joseph Summer Camp in Enterprise a $3,000 Northwest FCS Rural Community Grant to purchase a teepee for the campers.
“The teepee will be used by our second- through sixth-grade campers at Chief Joseph Summer Camp in Wallowa County,” said board member Dana Ingram. “The teepee will serve as the central focus of camp activities featuring the history and lore of the Nez Perce Tribe. Northwest Farm Credit’s generosity allows us to move ahead with this ambitious project without burdening our campers with additional fees.”
