Enterprise FCCLA qualifies for nationals

Enterprise High School’s FCCLA chapter came home from the 2018 Oregon FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Portland with some “bling.”

As a whole, the Enterprise team earned five gold and four silver medals, and all participants qualified for the National Leadership Conference.

Of the 17 members, Zion Mark, Pablo Arenas, Kasey Duncan, Grace Collins, Jericho Peters, Shane Lund, Rachel Frolander, Sahara Barreto, Katrina Haines, and Adagia Latta plan to compete at the national level this June in Atlanta, Ga.

These members will be working to raise funds for their trip to Atlanta and have planned to host a can trailer at Grain Growers and a dinner at the Enterprise High School academic awards.

Members who attended the State Leadership Conference were: Zion Mark, Hafizh AlFarizi, Paul Stangel, Pablo Arenas, Kasey Duncan, Lena Klocker, Grace Collins, Riley Gray, Jericho Peters, Shane Lund, Hero Peters, Rachel Frolander, Carsyn Miller, Reece Christman, Sahara Barreto, Katrina Haines and Adagia Latta.

Enterprise FCCLA advisor Tamarah Duncan and chaperon Cheri Collins also attended the conference with these members.
