Michael Andrew Brennan passed away at his home in Mitchell, Ore. He is survived by his father (Arthur “Mike” Brennan of Joseph), three brothers (Jim, Dennis and Will), four sisters (Patricia, Mary, Tammy, and Caroline), and his children: daughter, Sharon (Bobby) Helms, of Spray, Ore.; son, Michael J. (Trish) Brennan, of Mitchell, Ore.; son, Patrick Brennan of Elgin and numerous grandchildren.

Mike was born in Los Angeles to Arthur “Mike” Wells Brennan and Florence Irene (Whitman) Brennan and grew up in Joseph. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic.

His passion was as a timber faller, working in Oregon and California, but had also at times been a cowboy and farmer. He spent some of the ‘80s working in construction, running heavy equipment, building roads and rights of way.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Florence Brennan; his first wife, Julia Carol (Overton) Brennan and infant daughter Michelle; and his second wife, Judy Pearl (Foster) Brennan.

He was interred at the Prairie Creek Cemetery Oct. 15, 2018. Any memorial contributions should be made be made to the VFW in his name.
