Elections are decided by those who count the votes

Count every vote.

Who could argue with that? Don’t we want every voice to be heard? Even if suddenly there are thousands of newly discovered ballots that appear for counting after the polls are closed? Learn from a voice from history:

“It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.”

Who gave us that pearl of wisdom so relevant today? Joseph Stalin – someone the Democrats are demonstrating their complete admiration for as they count and recount their newly found ballots in Broward County, Fla. And the Arizona and Montana Senate races and over 20 House seats announced for Republicans on election night.

Funny how –– in every case –– it is Democrats who benefit from the untraceable boxes of ballots found in car trunks and left behind in school rooms.

Cheat? Steal? Yes! By Any Means Necessary. Bam. (P.S. That’s the updated version of “the ends justify the means.”)

Dear Republicans: How about “Enforce the Law” as a rallying cry? First, let’s look at the law, starting with the U.S. Constitution because here’s the next volcano of corruption that is about to erupt. By that I mean the census.

What is the lawful purpose of a census?

Article I, Section 2 establishing the Legislature is the beginning, but Amendment XIV, Section 2 updates it after the Civil War: “Representatives shall be apportioned among the several states according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each state, excluding Indians not taxed.”

The next long and convoluted sentence makes clear that the right to vote is restricted to male citizens at least 21 years of age. Therefore, the legal purpose of the census is to set the number of Representatives each state may send to the Congress.

Do you remember the last census and the Democrat cry to “count every person” without regard to citizenship? There were ads on the radio telling us this was necessary so we would know how to allocate the welfare benefits and social workers to best advantage. That drumbeat is starting again.

So what?

What happens to our Congress if we ignore the Constitution’s purpose for a census? Obviously, states like California and Florida that are flooded with illegals will gain representatives, while states like Idaho and Kansas will lose. Oregon might lose, too. There are only 435 seats to go around.

So what?

Assuming (big assumption) that Democrats will agree with the Constitution that only citizens may vote, let’s make up some numbers to show the effect. Imagine a U.S. House district was set in San Diego where 30 percent of the people counted were illegals and Oregon’s District 2 –– where we live –– counted 1 percent.

That means, after apportionment, each of their ballots represents 1.3 people while yours represents 1.01. “One person, one vote? Really?

And the injustice lasts for 10 years. We must insist that the census include a question about citizenship and require that only citizens and their households be counted for House apportionment.

That’s the first volcano. Here’s the next:

Clean up the voter rolls. Our second “Enforce the Law” cry. Just for fun, look up Catherine Engelbrecht and True the Vote in Texas.

For attempting to investigate the voter rolls, the Obama Administration first erupted and then vented the full force of the federal government against her little company. This included Democrat Elijah Cummings, representative from Maryland, soon to be chairman of the House Oversight Committee again. Bam.

Nationally, there are reports of voting districts with more registered voters than eligible citizens and some with hundreds of voters over 100 years old. It’s a time-honored tradition dating back to Democrats like Mayor Daley in Chicago and Tammany Hall in New York City.

There never was an election they couldn’t fix. Historical Bam.

Do we have any problems here in Oregon? Who knows? Vote by Mail leaves all kinds of room to cheat.

As a state, we need to make a concerted effort to clear the rolls of people who have moved out of state, died or are otherwise ineligible. With Democrats in charge, we know they will never agree as Democrats are the enablers and beneficiaries of voter fraud. Oregon’s very own Bam.

Mysteriously, it is only Republicans who will accept the results of an election when Democrats win. When Republicans win a close election, we have Florida all over again. And Stalin.
