A variety of shelters — traditional teepees and modern camp tents — were on hand at the Chief Joseph Commemorative dances and encampment July 26, 2025, in Joseph.

Tribal members and non-Indians gather for the traditional friendship feast the Nez Perce put on July 26, 2025, in conjunction with the Chief Joseph Days Rodeo in Joseph.
