ENTERPRISE — The Wallowa County Board of Commissioners in a special meeting Wednesday, April 30, appointed members to three budget committees.

John Lawrence, Mark Piper and Jake Thompson now are members of the Wallowa County Budget Committee, all with terms expiring at the end of this year.

The county board also selected Lawrence, Piper and Thompson to serve on the Road Service District Budget Committee, also for terms expiring at the end of the year.

And the board selected Debby Cunningham, Wade Esvelt and Terence Sykora to serve on the Wallowa Lake County Service District Budget Committee with terms expiring at the end of the year.

The county commissioners are on all three committees with indefinite terms.

The board held the special meeting to make the appointments prior to its next regular meeting, which is May 7.
