ENTERPRISE — Three $1,000 scholarships are being awarded to Wallowa County students in the second year of the local health care district’s program, according to a press release.

Building on the success of its inaugural year, the Wallowa County Healthcare District’s program will once again offer two scholarships to graduating high school seniors from any school in the county and one to a nontraditional student currently attending or planning to return to an accredited institution of higher education, such as a trade school, community college, college or university.  

Applications are due by April 7 and selections will be made by April 22. Applicants must be residents of Wallowa County and meet specific criteria outlined in the application.
