Special meeting on NRAC funding planned in Enterprise

- The Wallowa County Board of Commissioners approved a contract for construction at the fairgrounds Feb. 13, 2025, during an emergency meeting at the courthouse in Enterprise.
ENTERPRISE — The Wallowa County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 1 p.m. over national forest funding.
The commissioners will review and possibly approve the recommendations of the county’s Natural Resource Advisory Committee on federal Title II funding for the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. The recommendations were not expected to be available for the commissioners’ regular Feb. 26 meeting at 9 a.m. and approval is needed by Feb. 28, so the special meeting was planned.
