The nonprofit operates under the mission of presenting middle and high school musicians the unique opportunity to develop their musical skills coached by members of the Oregon Symphony Orchestra and other highly qualified music instructors. The program consists of two elements: Brass Camp and Woodwind Camp. Each is a weeklong, sleepover camp held in the shadow of the Wallowa Mountains.
In 2025, Brass Camp will be held June 22-28, and Woodwind Camp July 20-26.
The Wildhorse Foundation has awarded more than $18 million in grant funding since its establishment in 2001.
