ENTERPRISE — Businesses in Wallowa and Union counties can apply for a small grant funded by Business Oregon’s Economic Equity Investment Program through July 31.

The application period for the grant through the Northeast Oregon Economic Development District opened May 1 and has been extended. The Northeast Oregon Economic Development District may review and assist with completion of required documentation before July 31. In all, $26,000 is available for business grants. The maximum grant request is $2,000 and the minimum is $500. Grant funds may be used for business assets, working capital and marketing. Funds may not be used to repay debt, or for travel, owner’s salary or multilevel marketing businesses.
