BAKER — The high school golf season is not over for Enterprise junior Kimber Stein as the Outlaw has qualified for the state championship after finishing two days of golfing at the 4A/3A/2A/1A Special District 4 Championship at the Quail Ridge Golf Course in Baker.

Stein completed the two days with a 198-stroke total after shooting 100 on day one and wrapping up play on day two with a 98. After the strokes were tallied, Stein placed fifth in the individual standings, good enough to earn a slot in the state tournament.

As a team, Enterprise finished the tournament in fifth after compiling a 929-stroke total. La Grande was crowned the district champions with a 798 total with Pendleton/Griswold’s 822 good enough for second place.

Outlaw senior Codi Cunningham finished her high school golf career with an 11th place showing at the district tournament after finishing with a 218 total.

Enterprise freshman Hazyl Storlie wrapped up her first district tournament in 25th after a two-day total of 242. After starting with a 125 on day one, Storlie improved on day two with a 117. Fellow freshman Calleigh Stonebrink’s 271 placed her at 38th.
