‘Peter & Wendy’ auditions are May 6

JOSEPH — Auditions will be Monday, May 6 for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “Peter and Wendy,” according to a press release.
The auditions will be at Joseph Charter School at 400 E. Williams Ave. in Joseph from 4:30-6 p.m. Those auditioning should arrive at 4:15 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition; the rehearsal will end at 8 p.m.

The performance will be 7-9 p.m. May 10 and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. May 11 at the school.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for kids 12-18 years old. Children younger than 12 are free.

“Peter and Wendy” is a musical adaptation of the “Peter Pan” story by Michael McGill of the Missoula Children’s Theatre. McGill also wrote the music and lyrics.
In the story, Captain Hook sends his right-hand man, Smee, on a quest to capture Peter Pan. Little does Hook realize what fantastic adventures await him and his pirate posse in their search for the elusive Peter Pan.
Meanwhile, Mr. and Mrs. Darling embark on a quest of their own and find themselves trekking everywhere from Hawaii to the North Pole in search of their three missing children.
