Softball: Outlaws notch road win in Heppner

HEPPNER — The 3A Wallowa County softball team picked up the team’s second straight win and defended the honor of 3A teams with a 15-5 victory over 2A Heppner/Ione/Condon on Tuesday, April 2 in Heppner.

The Outlaws (6-2 overall) prepare to begin 3A Special District 4 action on Friday, April 5 with two games in Burns versus the Hilanders (6-2 overall).

The game marks a battle of two top 10 3A teams in the state with Burns/Crane currently ranked fifth while the Outlaws sit seventh in the rankings.
