Enterprise/Wallowa girls wrestlers finish season at district meet

SCAPPOOSE — The combined girls’ wrestling team of Enterprise and Wallowa closed out the season at the 4A/3A/2A/1A District 1 meet on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Scappoose High School, placing 35th in the team scoring.

Enterprise/Wallowa finished the district tournament with 12 points, tied with the combined team of Union and Cove.

The Outlaw girls didn’t qualify a wrestler for the upcoming state meet; a top-five finish was required to qualify for state.

Kaylee Evans finished her season with a 13-21 overall record and wrestled her way to a 2-2 record at the district meet in the 110-pound division.

Wrestling at 115 pounds, Talluah April finished the year with a 30-9 record including a 4-2 showing at the district meet.
