Basketball: Games against Irrigon postponed again

Update, 2:30 p.m. Sunday: The Monday double-header featuring the Outlaw boys and girls teams facing off against Irrigon has been postponed, for the third time.
The games are now scheduled for Monday, Jan. 22. Game times will be announced later.

The Enterprise boys’ next scheduled game will be Friday at 7:30 p.m. at home against Weston-McEwen.
The next scheduled game for the girls team is Friday at 6 p.m. at home against No. 4 Weston-McEwen.

Irrigon at Enterprise girls
When: 4 p.m., Monday, Jan. 15.
Records: Enterprise is 10-6 overall, 3-0 in 2A Blue Mountain Conference play. Irrigon is 2-13 overall and 0-3 in conference play.

OSAA rankings: Enterprise is ranked 13th. Irrigon is ranked 34th.
The Outlaw girls, undefeated in three league matches so far, hope to push their winning streak to four with this game against the Knights. The Outlaws are coming off an impressive 39-36 win Saturday on the road against No. 8 Stanfield. This is the team’s first home game since Dec. 20.
The visiting Lady Knights of Irrigon are winless in league play and have posted their two wins against Grant Union and Washington state’s Touchet.
Irrigon at Enterprise boys
When: 5:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 15
Records: Enterprise is 10-6 overall, 0-3 in conference play. Irrigon is 1-13, 0-2 in conference play.
OSAA rankings: Enterprise is ranked 20th. Irrigon is ranked 35th.
The Outlaw boys hope to break through for their first league win and are looking to bounce back after a 74-36 loss Saturday at conference leader Stanfield, the team’s worst loss of the season.
Irrigon’s lone win of the year came on Dec. 8 versus 1A Trout Lake; since then, the team has lost 10 straight. The Knights also struggled against Stanfield, losing 92-25 on Jan. 5.
