Joseph hosts JO-HI wrestling tourney

JOSEPH – Wrestling teams from Oregon and Idaho will be on the mats in Joseph for two days starting at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5 for the annual JO-HI tournament.

The action will continue on Saturday, Jan. 6 with a start time of 10 a.m.

The boys will be in action on Friday with the girls waiting until Saturday morning to start competition.

For those following the action online at trackwrestling.com, the tournament is listed as the Cosgrove-Eschler Wrestling Tournament.

Fans will see 20 teams including Adrian, Crane, Culver, Echo, Elgin, Grant Union, Heppner, Imbler, Irrigon, host Joseph, Lowell, Neah-Kah-Nie, Pine Eagle, Riverside, Santiam Christian, Toledo, Umatilla, Union and two teams from Idaho, Orofino and Clearwater Valley.
