UNION — The Enterprise girls basketball team is home after a perfect 3-0 showing at the recent Bobcat Classic in Union.

The Outlaws started the three-day tournament with a nail-biter, a 49-48 victory over the host Bobcats on Thursday, Dec. 14.

On Friday, the going was a bit easier as Enterprise downed Elgin 36-22.

On Saturday, the final day, the Lady Outlaws took a 20-point win over Harper, 50-30.

“We had trouble connecting with the basket in the first half,” said Enterprise coach Dan Butterfield. “The girls settled down and played like they can in the second half. I was really proud of them for sticking together to win the three games in Union.”

In the win over the Hornets of Harper, both Tessa Duncan and Alex Rowley put in 14 points. Nevaeh James added 10 points.

Enterprise (7-3 overall) will be back before the home fans on Wednesday, Dec. 20 to meet Imbler (7-0 overall) in a nonleague battle of 2A versus 1A squads. Game time is 6 p.m.
