Joseph plans Friday gathering to support Eagles

JOSEPH — The Joseph community is planning a send-off for the Eagle football team on Friday, Nov. 24 as the squad leaves town for the 1A 6-man state championship game.

Supporters are asked to gather in the Joseph Charter School parking lot at 10 a.m. for a tailgate party. The gathering will last about two hours and those attending are asked to bring food and drink or just attend to support the Eagles.

The Eagles play the Echo Cougars for the state title Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hermiston High School.
