Outlaw football ranks 10th in preseason poll

ENTERPRISE — As the Enterprise football team prepares to open the season versus Imbler on Thursday, Aug. 31, the state’s football coaches are picking the Outlaws in the top 10 among the 1A 8-man teams around the state.

The Oregon School Activities Association released the preseason coaches’ poll on Thursday, Aug. 31 with the Outlaws coming in at the 10th slot.

The coaches like Lost River to win it all followed by St. Paul, Adrian, Myrtle Point and Crane rounding out the top five.

Enterprise wrapped up last season with a 6-4 overall record and placed seventh in the final rankings for the state. Losing only four seniors to graduation, Enterprise is looking to improve the squad’s second-place finish in league last year.
