JOSEPH — A special session of the Joseph City Council will be held Friday, June 23, at 3:30 p.m. The meeting will be held by Zoom only, but the public is welcome to attend, according to a press release.

The council meeting is to decide whether or not to donate to the Wallowa County Chamber of Commerce for the “Shake the Lake” event. The event is the fireworks display held each Fourth of July over Wallowa Lake.

A donation from the city has been requested, but the amount was not made public.
