Letter: People are watching Greater Idaho effort

We won! Twelve counties now have voted to engage in dialog to move the border.
For the first time in eight years we drew the attention of opposition, which means people are paying attention to Greater Idaho. The fact that this opposition was organized in Portland and these people refuse to identify themselves and who is financing them speaks volumes to why we need to move the border.
Greater Idaho is a grassroots movement that again demonstrates that every vote counts, everything we do, say and every dollar we raise and spend is above the board. The fact is that when you poll the people in Idaho, Eastern Oregon and Northwest Oregon, they favor a border move by 60% to address the cultural divide we have been forced to live under for decades here in Northeast Oregon. Moving the border is a win, win, win proposition.
