Outlaws softball bumps up In poll

WILSONVILLE — A pair of wins over Umatilla impressed the state’s coaches enough for the Enterprise/Joseph/Wallowa softball team to rise in the recently released coaches’ poll.

The poll, released on Tuesday, May 9, shows the Outlaws rising to sixth from last week’s eighth-place showing. Enterprise/Joseph/Wallowa currently sits with a 15-4 overall record and holds a ranking of seventh, according to the Oregon School Activities Association’s official standings.

The Outlaws hold down the second slot in the 3A Special District 4 behind district leader Burns/Crane.

The Hilanders of Burns/Crane dropped in this week’s coaches’ poll from first to third.
