High school basketball: Outlaws Open Blue Mountain Tournament Action

PENDLETON — Both the boys and girls basketball teams for the Enterprise Outlaws open postseason 2A Blue Mountain Conference action with games taking place at the Pendleton Convention Center starting Friday, Feb. 17.

The Outlaw girls kick everything off with the first game of the tournament starting at 1 p.m. Enterprise (14-9 overall, 7-3 2A Blue Mountain Conference), currently second in the league standings, will hit the court against Weston-McEwen (12-11 overall, 6-4 2A Blue Mountain Conference). The two teams split the two meetings during the regular season with the Outlaws winning 49-34 on Jan. 14. The TigerScots returned the favor on Jan. 27, taking the win over Enterprise, 42-35.

The Enterprise boys will not see the court until much later, starting their tournament run at 7:45 p.m. Like the girls, the Outlaw boys will also square off against Weston-McEwen TigerScots. Enterprise (5-19 overall, 2-8 2A Blue Mountain Conference) fell to the TigerScots (13-10 overall, 5-5 2A Blue Mountain Conference) in both previous meetings this season.
