Two big news events over the last couple of weeks illustrate how fast EO Media Group mobilizes to get information out to our readers.
The fire at a Pendleton grain facility and the hailstorm that hit Wallowa County hard were major events that required as much coverage — and resources — as we could manage. We also made sure as much information was out regarding a robbery attempt and shooting at the Wildhorse Resort & Casino Aug. 17.
These major breaking news events are fairly uncommon but when they do occur we make sure that we are on the scene gathering as much information as we can to make sure our readers are informed.
We do so much more on a daily basis but the end goal always remains the same: providing the best news package for our readers as humanely possible.
That means when a major news event occurs, you don’t have to wonder what is going on. All you need is a subscription to the one of our newspapers in the region. Keeping our readers informed is one of our most important goals and we spend an awful lot of time ensuring we are doing just that.
A foundation of trust coupled with fast action by our news staffs means you will always get the information you need before others.

The Wallowa School District announced that the start of the school year would be delayed by four days because of the extensive damage caused by the hailstorm.
Reporter Bill Bradshaw looked at the amount that bid on livestock during the Wallowa County Fair Fat Stock Sale. The auction raised more than $468,000, ip from the $360,345 raised during the 2021 fair.
