Hearing on zone change, partition on Joseph agenda

JOSEPH — A public hearing on a zone change and a minor partition request by Josf LLC will take place Thursday, June 2, during the regular meeting of the Joseph City Council.

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at the Joseph Community Events Center at 102 E. 1st St. in Joseph. The public is invited to the meeting and hearing either in person or via Zoom.

The public hearing will be for a request by Andy McKee, listed at the key principal for Josf LLC, to change the zoning designation from general residential to commercial at 201 E. 2nd St. in Joseph. The minor partition request is for the same property.

• Consider rate increases for solid waste disposal by Rahn’s Disposal.

• Hear a request for a street closure for the Chief Joseph Days parade on July 29.

• Hear a presentation on the Joseph Mountain Jubilee by Tammy Kruger.

• Consider a request for a liquor license for the Cheyenne Café.

• Hear a presentation on the Music on Main by the Joseph Chamber of Commerce.

• Hear a presentation by engineer Anderson Perry on ongoing public works projects.

• Consider a published request for proposals for a municipal judge.

• Schedule the next monthly meeting for July 7.
