JOSEPH — The Joseph City Council will hold an executive session at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 29 via Zoom.

Anyone who is permitted to attend may do so by logging onto https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88138754137?pwd=Z3c4WEFxUzdWL3RqdzhSbkFPSFRodz09. The webinar ID is 881 3875 4137 and the passcode is 269827.

The executive session is being held pursuant to Oregon Revised Statute that allows the governing body of a public body to hold an executive session:

• To consider the employment of a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent. On Tuesday, the council will hear an update from an employee who has been out on medical leave and his plans for returning to work.

• To consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection.

An open session will follow, also via Zoom. The agenda for the open meeting includes:

• Discussion of public items from the executive session.

• System development charges, which are charges that a city or county may assess to cover the “true cost” of development and include costs to existing and additional water, sewer, transportation and park services.

• Updates from the Oregon Department of Transportation on its planned work on sidewalks and ramps downtown. The council is expected to make its final decision on ODOT’s proposed cast-iron truncated domes for the project at ODOT’s cost. After the domes are selected, there will be a final public hearing on the matter.

• Public comment (limited to 3 minutes each.)
