Road vacations go before commissioners

ENTERPRISE — Hearings on road vacations at Wallowa Lake will highlight the Wednesday, March 2, meeting of the Wallowa County Board of Commissioners.

The commissioners meet at 9 a.m. at the courthouse.

The two hearings are for Mammon, Pollock Road and Graham, Hamilton Road at the lake.

Also on Wednesday’s agenda is a grant agreement with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality for the Wallowa CRP Implementation Plan. The commissioners are slated to review and consider approval of the agreement.

In other business Wednesday, the commissioner are expected to:

• Accept the resignation of Chrystal Allen as grants administrator and rehire her on an on-call, part-time basis at an hourly wage.

• Appoint a budget officer for the county and for the Wallowa Lake County Service District.

• Appoint members to the county Compensation Board.
