The sports slate for this week is already getting shaken up.

Enterprise’s home basketball doubleheader against Pilot Rock, which was scheduled to tip off Tuesday, Jan. 18, has been canceled due to inclement weather that closed Interstate 84 and Highway 204 for several hours on Jan. 18, according to the school’s Facebook page. 

Wallowa and Joseph also have seen contests canceled.

Both teams were scheduled to play Powder Valley this week — Wallowa at home on Jan. 21, and Joseph on the road on Jan. 22. But Powder Valley moved to comprehensive distance learning this week, forcing its games against the Wallowa County schools to be dropped, according to multiple sources. 

It’s not yet known what the reschedule dates will be.
