THURSDAY, SEPT. 13

3-8 p.m. –– En Plein Air Competition Quick Finish and Reception at Mt. Joseph Lodge across from Josephy Center. Free. Open to the public. En Plein Air artists will put finishing touches on their work, mat, frame and hang their work. Follow the artists during the day and watch the final leg of the competition. Artwork will be on display Friday and Saturday, 12-4 p.m. and Sunday noon to 2 p.m.

FRIDAY, SEPT 14

7 p.m. –– The Party: Opening Night Artists Reception at Josephy Center for Arts and Culture, Main Street, Joseph. Cost: $25 at the door, $20 in advance. Tickets available at Bookloft (Enterprise), BeeCrowBee (Joseph) and Josephy Center welcome desk (Joseph) or online at wallowavalleyarts.org. 4 p.m. — Summer Arts Classic “Woodwinds in the Wallowas,” a musical finale for the festival at Josephy Center for Arts and Culture, Main Street, Joseph. Featuring Scott/Garrison Duo, Karen Hsiao Savage with special guests Mark Eubanks and Lauren Nebel. Cost: $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and youth younger than 18 are admitted free.
