6 p.m. –– New version of the beloved story “Heidi” at the OK Theatre as a fundraiser for Oregon’s Alpenfest. Free admission if in costume; otherwise $5 adults and teens, $1 kids.

4 p.m. –– Main Street Procession to Wallowa Courthouse Gazebo for opening ceremony

5:45 p.m. –– Ceremonial tapping of the first keg of TG’s Alpenfest beer with tastes for $5 at Terminal Gravity Brewing, Enterprise. Suggested donation.

6-9 p.m. –– Accordions at Alpenfest featuring virtuoso Alicia Baker and accordionist Colleen Halverson plus alphorn music and Swiss yodeling (food and beer available)

9 a.m. to sunset –– Alpine Fair with art, craft and food vendors at Edelweiss Inn, Wallowa Lake

Noon –– Free polka lesson with Randy and Ashley Thull from Wisconsin

1-11 p.m. –– Performance ($15/$8 before 3 p.m., $18/$8 after 3 p.m.)

1-5 p.m. –– European Take-Out Band, Tirolean Dancers of Oregon, Bruce Coutant on alphorn, Swiss yodeler Art Brogli

5 p.m. –– Free waltz lesson with Randy and Ashley Thull from Wisconsin

6-11 p.m. –– The Polkatones, Tirolean Dancers of Oregon, Bruce Coutant on alphorn, Swiss yodeler Art Brogli. Bratwurst meal ($10), beer and wine available
