Around 100 motorcycle enthusiasts arrived in Wallowa County last Thursday and stayed until Sunday afternoon. The annual Wallowa County Thunder Run Bike Rally drew riders from across the Northwest. Organizers said numbers were down a bit this year because several biker events were held simultaneously. Functions began with a kickoff party in Joseph Thursday, a milkshake ride to Boggans Oasis on Friday, followed by a the Bronce Bike Tribute Parade later in the day. Saturday included a scenic ride to Hells Canyon Overlook, a poker run and biker games.
