The Wallowa-Whitman National Forest is asking for public input on proposed renewals of 13 Outfitter and Guide Special-Use Permits within the Eagle Cap Ranger District, Eagle Cap Wilderness, Wallowa Valley Ranger District, Hells Canyon National Recreation Area and portions of the Whitman Ranger District. The outfitters are: Cornucopia Wilderness Pack Station; Hells Canyon Packers; Ninebark Enterprises, LLC; Outdoor Consultants; Steens Wilderness Adventures; Spence Air Service; Tri-State Outfitters; Wilderness Adventures; Wallowa Alpine Huts; Wallowa Llamas; Wallowa Mountain Outfitters; Wilderness Trophy Adventures and Wing Ridge Ski Tours.

The Forest Service is working to complete the planning and analysis for this project by April and encourages those who are interested in this project to become involved in the planning process by providing your comments and visiting staff.
