Davis “Dave” Keith Taylor, 79, of Wallowa passed away Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held at the Christ Covenant Church (Old Lostine School House) in Lostine at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.

Dave was born Nov. 17, 1935 in Salt Lake City to Perry N. and Helen A. (Davis) Taylor. He served our country while in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He attended the College of the Sequoias and Multnomah School of the Bible. He married the love of his life, Linda S. Miller, in 1961.

Dave was employed as a police officer and later worked for missions. He enjoyed archeology, motorcycling, camping, sailing and spelunking.

Dave is survived by his daughters — Bonnie Tollefson and her husband Terry of Wallowa, and Kimberly Summers and her husband Barry of Elgin; sister Helen Abdulaziz and her husband Mohyeddin of Tucson, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 6 nieces and nephews. Dave was preceded in death by his wife Linda and his parents, Perry and Helen.
