UNION — Enterprise track and field continued its string of successful meets Saturday at Union, site of the 9th annual Pepsi Invitational, one of the season’s larger competitions.

Despite the larger lineup of teams (21 men’s teams) Enterprise men prevailed yet again, finishing first with 107.5 points, trailed closely by the Union’s men’s team, which tallied 103. Enterprise women were also strong, coming in third as a team with 70 points. The meet had 19 women’s teams.

Outlaws track and field also includes athletes from Wallowa High School. Local athletes who had individual first-place finishes in Union were all from the EHS/WHS squad: Eliza Irish in the 800 meters, Kaden Lathrop in the 300-meter hurdles, and Micah Fuller in the shot put.

Joseph High’s much smaller team also took part in the Pepsi Invitational, where Joseph women accumulated 34.5 points to finish eighth.
